The process works like this:

• Customer orders product(s)
• Customer completes payment
• Customer is returned to your THANKS.ASP page
• THANKS.ASP page contains a link to your new order download page
• DOWNLOAD.ASP page contains a link to each product that is unique and un-guessable
• Customer downloads their product(s)

Behind the scenes...

• Customer receives standard order confirmation email with download link included
• YOU control the number of downloads per order
• If customer hits download limit, they are instructed to contact you with their order details and an explanation as to why they have exceeded their download limit
• Order detail page in admin area has link to reset download credits
• Order detail page in admin area has download link so you can email the link to a customer if they missed it

Recently added improvements

• Download links are created only for downloadable products
• YOU control whether a customer can download or not
• Now works with capture card and Email - so you get to approve payment before the download link is supplied to the customer

This is a highly customisable version with advanced features such as "zip on the fly" and include "copyright notice". It not a mod for the average site and will require additional customisation based on your sites specific requirements.
